t.j. misny writes, directs, photographs and edits those moving pictures you keep hearing about. he is currently in the early stages of preproduction on his first feature film as writer/director. his short films have screened at over three dozen film festivals worldwide, including DETRITUS (director/cinematographer/editor) which was awarded the kodak director's prize at the 2015 slamdance film festival. his collection of three darkly comic short films, INTIMATE SEMAPHORES (writer/director/producer/editor) starring kate lyn sheil ("house of cards"), ariane labed ("before midnight") and jocelin donahue ("house of the devil") made its US premiere as the opening night of the 2014 brooklyn film festival (winner: best editing) and its international premiere at the 2014 stockholm film festival (nominated: iFestival award).
